he gave the role all I asked for and more, a great sign in an actor."
Film director - Gavin Irvine "The Real Mario Grey"
Film supported by The UK Film Council and BBC Wales.
"Martin has a very strong screen presence"
Geoff Thompson - Author and BAFTA award winning film writer

“Martin played a particularly difficult character – a nightclub goer who loses his temper and leaves a man paralysed for life – very convincingly. This part was made doubly hard by the fact that he had to make the character’s anger escalation credible in a very short space of time within the film. He succeeded in bringing a genuine sense of menace to the role and worked with complete professionalism within the team.”
Sarah Sarkhel – Director, BBC Crimewatch

“Martin found the character effortlessly, an easy going actor who works hard on set.”
Mark Jeavons- Film Director

“Although Martin is slightly dyslexic this is not a weakness but his strength. He may take longer with the script but his characters once built are without exception totally believable and real. His strengths lie in improvising the scenes and characterisation. He is a joy to work with.”
Ria Richardson- Director, Speech and Drama Teacher
LLAM Teaching and Acting- ALAM Recital and Public Speaking- COM (Hons) Reading -Dip BSSD

“Martin Nigel Davey is a very natural actor.”
Scott Rawsthorne- Film Director MTV London

“Martin was totally professional and enthusiastic throughout the shoot. Buoyant even in difficult filming circumstances. His on screen chemistry with his co-star was a joy to watch.”
Mark C Cookson – Film Director, The Sandman

“Martin played the part of Christ in the stage production and he portrayed all the emotions and passion that this extremely difficult role demands. He played the part as well as I have ever seen it done.”
K G Brooke- Director, The Cross, the Tomb and the Stone

Martins involvement in "One Minutes" required him to portray a series of  9 completely different characters in a series of situations; From a dumb crook holding up a drive thru,  a stressed out artist, a mexican drug gangster, a dying earthquake victim, a 16th century tutor..etc.
Whether he was coming to film a role that he had put in hours of preparation for, or if he was doing a role I gave him on the day without warning, he was able to effortlessly adjust and create convincing characters whether comedy or Strong Drama... Easy going actor, I look forward to being able to work with him again.
Philip Pugh. Film Director "One Minutes" (60 films in 60minutes)

"Short film XK7218.........great acting and well directed"
