Martin was born in Birmingham, both of his parents
are from Southern Ireland. Leaving school at 15 Martin
joined a full time youth theatre group touring schools
and small venues with different shows.
In to his 20's he concentrated on sport and bringing up
a young family by doing a variety of jobs.
At 30
he re-trained and re-joined the acting world.
He considers himself fortunate enough to have met and
worked with a lot of talented people.
